Gala Committee
The Gala Committee develops the goals and plans for the annual fundraising event held each Spring. This committee leads execution of all event details and is broken into sub-committees such as Auction, Decorations, Games and Marketing.

Finance Committee
The Finance Committee is responsible for all financial matters of the Foundation. The committee makes recommendations regarding fund management, prepares an annual budget, ensures IRS reports are completed and approves gift receipting and processing procedures.

Marketing Committee
The Marketing Committee promotes the Foundation and develops plans for increasing interest and awareness in the Foundation’s programs and activities. This committee develops, plans and leads execution of all marketing efforts to increase awareness of the Foundation and its mission. Activities include, but are not limited to, newsletters, annual reports, direct mail pieces, printed items for events, thank you cards, recognition items, emails, website updates and social media.

Alumni Committee
The Alumni Committee helps to locate alumni of the Ballard Community School District. This committee breaks into subcommittees by class years and attends class reunions to present information from the Foundation. Also, the committee works closely with the Marketing Committee to develop an alumni section of the Foundation’s website.

Programs & Proposals Committee
The Programs & Programs Committee develops programs in cooperation with school leadership that are in alignment with the school district’s strategic plan. The committee will solicit, accept and evaluate proposals for education projects/programs that will augment and enrich education. It is also the committee’s purpose to determine the dollars needed, prioritize requested funds and recommend action to the board of directions.
